Vent it out.

So it snowed. And for whatever reason Desanti decided not to give a two hour delay today. Which i don't even understand. This morning was the biggest cluster, trying to get into school ever. I mean, jesus, some people couldn't even make it out of their driveway this morning. There was virgin snow on my street this morning. Good god. A delay was necessary. West A is just lucky that nobody got hurt this morning in an attempt to get here.
So off of that and onto a new topic, my sister hacked onto my facebook and added my mother. which is not okay. I'd been putting off adding her for months and had no intention of ever actually adding her but my sister did it. She also added herself so I kept my mom and deleted my sister, because that's not okay. But seriously, my mother flipped out when she saw what I had been "hiding" from her. Which was really nothing more than curse words. Honestly. And she freaked out and acted as if I'd been shooting up heroin and there were pictures of it all over my facebook. Good god. Yet she wonders why I don't want to add her?
Not only that, but I refuse to add any family members besides her. (since if I deleted her now, she's rip my throat out) Specifically her side of the family, because they insist on commenting on every status, every picture, and freaking out every time I say shit piss or damn. No, not the f bomb, but the tiny stuff that no one else even really notices.
The adults in my life need to grasp reality. I am seventeen years old. This is how I speak to my friends when you're not around. Things have changed. I swear to god my Nana is under the impression that guys are still supposed to take their hats off when a girl enters the room and that a girl should constantly act like a "lady". No. You're wrong. Shut up.

  1. This blog was loaded - a true stream of consciousness. While the weather was inclement, the snow did come on late morning and unfortunately the decision is a consorted response to forecasts, current conditions, and time. Some think that calling a delay would have caused more problems as the weather progressively worsened. As far as adults in general acting condescending, know that you ultimately make your own decisions. We adults just hope that enough leadership and logic has been passed off to make good decisions when it counts - hence the constant adult presence! You've got a good head on your shoulders and will figure it out.
